SYV MIL (meaning seven miles) is founded by the producers Camilla Svingen and Hjørdis M. Steinsvik. We work with professional performing art.
We collaborate with artists with stong visions, who capture opportunities and, through their chosen artistic form, share their insights in ways that engage the audience to think and feel in new ways. We look for ideas that are relevant in relation to social and political factors in the time we live in.
It is important for us to listen to the artists and to understand what they want to express and convey. We want to help identify the ideas that can bring out the artist's and the project's full potential, create the best experiences for the audience and to make a comment to society. Our ways of working have been developed based on our experience and research. Each project is unique and adjustments are made continuously.
